This competition 25 metre pool has been designed with total flexibility in mind. Fitted within the pool tank is 1 floating pool floor and a fixed depth area of 1.8m. Please see our Opening Times for an up to date timetable.

Leisure pool

The leisure pool has a beach pool, flow pool and 2 longer, faster flumes which have been designed with contrasting coloured translucent stripes inside to create a "warp tunnel" effect when in use (Please be aware you must be 1.2m or taller to ride the flumes). The shallow leisure pool and ‘Coral Cove’ splash zone – complete with water jets and smaller slide - is great for younger children to enjoy.

Please check the Pool Admission Policy before attending the NSC, to ensure you have the correct number of adults to children. 

Users with disabilities

There is access to all pool areas for customers with disabilities; a hoist is available to gain access to the leisure pool and the use of the pool pod for access to the competition pool. Please do not hesitate to ask if you require assistance. Our staff are always happy to help.

It is not necessary to make a booking to use the swimming facilities but customers should be aware that owing to high demand the pool may operate a 1½ hours sessions system at weekends and during school holidays.
