From September through December, our 14 Sure Sports Leaders logged volunteer coaching hours around the Island, assisting teachers, sports coaches, and children at school clubs, community sports clubs and MSR holiday program activities.
As a group they have volunteered for over 330 hours last term, which is incredible! Well done to all!
Sure awards prizes to the three Sports Leaders who register the most volunteer coaching hours over the winter and spring terms for all of the time they give up to provide these sporting opportunities for children (September to December & January to April).
So, our winter term prize winners are:
- Leo Tregurtha
- Hugo Hughes
- Catherine Perry
They will each get £100, £75, and £50 vouchers, respectively.
Congratulations to our winners and well done to the rest of the group for all of the time they have spent helping others.
Our next prize giving will be in April when we find out who will receive the awards for the Spring Term as well as who will be the Sure Sports Leader of the Year. We are excited to find out who our next winners will be!
